Or, Subtitled: “Samuel Kerr a Chd. Bapd. named Samuel”
With this posting, I’m launching a new series in which I’ll be climbing up my ancestral lines on a line I haven’t yet explored in detail. When I inaugurated this blog back in 2018, my primary goal was to take my over forty years of genealogical research, much of it stored in undigitized paper files, and make my findings and documents available online. It bothers me intently that so much that’s published about family history online (and in printed works) is flatly wrong. In starting a blog in which I share my own research and the documents in which my research is rooted, I hoped I might help to correct at least a few errors now being spread widely by online family trees and websites.
