I’m posting this piece to update a posting I made quite some time in the past. The posting I’ve just linked focuses on a daughter of Mark Lindsey (1774-1848) and Mary Jane Dinsmore (1779-1853) of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, Wayne County, Kentucky, and Morgan and Lawrence Counties, Alabama.[1] That daughter was Nancy Lindsey (abt. 1801 – aft. 1880), who married William Morris. Nancy was born in Wayne County, Kentucky and died after 1880 in either Hickman County, Kentucky, or Obion County, Tennessee.
