Dennis Lindsey was the last of the nine children of William and Rachel Lindsey. His tombstone in Magnolia Cemetery in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia, where he’s buried with his second wife Mary S. Roman Lindsey, says that he was born in 1812 and died in 1879.^[1]
