This posting is a continuation of a previous one in which I documented the life of Thomas Lewis Leonard, son of Thomas Leonard and Hannah James, in Limestone County, Alabama, in the decade 1820-1830. This posting will document Thomas’ life in that county from 1830 until 1839, when he and wife Sarah Lauderdale Leonard sold their land in Limestone County and move to Texas.
